Legacy

I owe a huge part of my ability to repair things to my great and wonderful Dad who is sadly no longer with us.

As a young lad I couldn't wait to leave school and go and tinker about with him in his workshop, as a professional electronics engineer spanning many decades he ran a very successful repair business.

Most nights after school I would go straight there, he would give me something to take apart (always something that didn't matter!) which got me interested in repair work and was the foundation to me becoming an engineer myself.

I still use all of the techniques and principles that he taught me to this day, if I can be a quarter of the engineer he was I'll consider myself very lucky indeed.

Here's to you Dad, I'll keep the soldering iron hot for you.
